What does it mean to be thankful?

It’s no doubt that 2020 has left all of us with little to be thankful for…..or has it? With all the trials and tribulations and curve balls thrown at us this year, we can’t help but be thankful for the incredible drive and determination in our industry.

If you think about the true meaning of being thankful, it’s all relative. We can be thankful for the smallest of things, our animals, sunshine, rain, a great Martini or even our community.

So, this year, let’s all try to look on the bright side and truly be thankful for the amazing industry we are in. Let’s be thankful for all of the awesome people in our industry and the positive impact we have on one another.

The Ignite’s Family First Career Networking Initiative has proven to help many impacted in our community to find jobs, employers find talent and given so many of us hope. We’re thankful this forum has helped build these connections, but most of all, we’re thankful for our community and those we serve every day.

We wish each and every one of you a beautiful and satisfying Thanksgiving Holiday this year. We encourage all to remain vigilant with positive thoughts, keep the motivation that lifts each of us up and most of all, help fellow community members thrive during these challenging times. Together – we are strong. Together – we are thankful.

On that note, we thought it would be nice to share a recipe; a Kitchen of Life Recipe for Gratitude.
