Role Desired:
My desired role, in a perfect world, is to work with Regional/National On-premise Accounts.
Length of Time in the Industry:
I have been in the industry for many years (30 years), and I absolutely love what I do. I have worked all my time in the great state of Texas, where we have a 4th tier in the industry, and I am skilled at navigating the way business is done in Texas. I have both sold wine directly to on-premise accounts, as well as working directly with retailers who sell spirits to the on-premise world.
What Makes You Unique:
My passion is relationship building, working with integrity and loyalty, and finding what works best for the customer. I love problem solving and like to follow things through from beginning to end. I enjoy working out logistical issues with delivery or with inventory, and I work well in a team setting to make sure the customer gets what is needed in a timely fashion.
What You Love About Your Job/Career Path:
I fell into this industry by accident, and I have loved every minute. I have been on the street selling directly to customers; I have many years on the fine wine side, and I have a very good palate; and I have transitioned to spirits via National and Regional accounts at the distributor level.
Most Fulfilling Part:
I get great satisfaction when a relationship is developed over time and the customer has trust that I have their best interest at heart. It may take some time in this channel, but I have found that with solid products, a good work ethic, and integrity, the business always grows.
Personal Life:
I live in Houston with my husband and two 13 year olds (boy/girl twins) in the 7th grade. I love to take power walks, travel, read, and socialize with family and friends, even virtually, as much as possible.
