We are pleased to announce that Ignite Creative Services and our fearless founders, Celia Waddington & Kim Gouch, have been certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
WBENC is the nation’s largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the US. and a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs.
The WBENC mission is to fuel economic growth globally by identifying, certifying, and facilitating the development of women-owned businesses.
Celia Waddington, Principal of Ignite Creative Services says,
It’s an incredible honor for Ignite Creative Services to be a part of an organization built for women to encourage, support and empower other women through their economic journey.
Since 2007, the number of women-owned businesses has increased 58 percent, which is better than businesses overall, which increased only 12 percent.
Women trying to rise up into leadership face cultural and systemic hurdles that make it harder for them to advance in industries that have been dominated over decades by men.
Kim Gouch, Principal of Ignite Creative Services added,
We’re very proud of our accomplishments here at Ignite over the past 10 years and this certification will most definitely open more doors for additional growth opportunities.
Next, we take a look at female leadership in the spirits industry and an advocacy group within the culinary world.
